Task pendants often provide 800–1500 lumens each; ambient decorative pieces can be lower if layered with recessed or under-cabinet lighting.

Warm 2700–3000K feels inviting for dining; 3500–4000K gives a crisp look for prep. Choose CRI 90+ for accurate color on food and finishes.

Most pendants are dimmable with compatible LED controls. Confirm triac/ELV or 0–10 V depending on the driver or bulbs used.

Use slope-rated canopies or chain suspensions for angled ceilings. Shorten cords evenly and use a bubble level for multi-light bars.

Metal and glass clean easily; fabric shades collect grease unless vented well. Choose durable finishes that match hardware and appliances.

Pick diffused or opal glass for softer light; add a dimmer; or choose wide shades with hidden sources to avoid glare in seating areas.

Confirm canopy size, junction-box coverage, ceiling reinforcement, and overall drop length before installation.
